About The Workshop
Writing Urban History is a four-day intensive online workshop on learning to conceptualize and narrate the historical evolution of Indian cities. It is a part of a year-long series of workshops conducted under the narrative of CityLabs. During this workshop, the participants will be given daily theoretical inputs over video conferencing on key urban theories and will be exposed to techniques and mediums they can use to narrate the urban histories of the cities of their choice in the best way possible. The workshop will end with each participant producing a publication/ dissemination ready presentation/essay on the urban history of a city.
